Job Title: Cook

Ustaad G 76 Abbotsford is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as managing kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate special events and determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Manage kitchen operations
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail is essential
