Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our North East Mental Health Team in Vancouver, BC.

In this role, you will provide individualized direct nursing care and brokerage services to a diverse range of clients with severe and persistent mental illness, concurrent disorders, and/or dementia.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering comprehensive clinical practice and client-centered rehabilitation programs, working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Focusing on enhancing the quality of life for clients and their families through strength-based treatment plans.
  • Conducting thorough physical and psychosocial rehabilitation assessments to understand each client's unique needs.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families on mental health conditions and available resources.
