Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper - Financial Record Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Verify and balance transactions
  • Maintain payroll
  • Maintain financial records

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
