**Job Summary**

GFL Environmental is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chemical Technician to join our team in Hamilton, ON. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our environmental services.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Classify, test, and determine chemical groups collected through our household hazardous and industrial waste collection programs.
  • Bulk inorganic and organic materials for shipment.
  • Sort and bulk pesticides for shipment.
  • Conduct inventory counts, label, and prepare containers for shipment.
  • Work safely at all times by adhering to company policies, rules, and procedures regarding health and safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

  • Successful completion of a University or College program with a focus on Chemistry or equivalent industry experience.
  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • Valid G class Driver's license is an asset.
  • Previous forklift experience is also considered an asset but is not required.
