Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

HAKKA BOYZ is seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of international dishes, including South Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including South Indian specialties.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Order supplies and equipment, and ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Knowledge of South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques, and the ability to prepare and cook a variety of international dishes.
Work Environment:
