Clinical Educator for Pediatric Nurses

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Educator for our pediatric nursing program at American Career College. As a faculty member, you will join a collaborative team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare education that prepares students for successful careers in pediatric nursing.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering clinical instruction according to approved course syllabi using accepted and effective teaching methods
  • Developing daily lesson plans, advising, and tutoring students
  • Maintaining current and accurate attendance and grade records

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3 years of occupational experience in the subject field or a closely related field
  • Direct patient care experience within the previous five years in the nursing area to which they are assigned
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products

Required qualifications include:

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with courses in nursing or natural, behavioral, or social sciences relevant to nursing practice
  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in California
