As an Adjunct Faculty member in the Pediatrics department at American Career College, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical instruction that prepares students for successful careers in pediatric nursing.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering clinical instruction according to approved course syllabi using accepted and effective teaching methods
- Developing daily lesson plans, advising, and tutoring students
- Maintaining current and accurate attendance and grade records
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of occupational experience in the subject field or a closely related field
- Direct patient care experience within the previous five years in the nursing area to which they are assigned
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS office products
Required qualifications include:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with courses in nursing or natural, behavioral, or social sciences relevant to nursing practice
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in California
