Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAT tutor to join our team. As an SAT tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support to students, focusing on the SAT test materials and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and provide supplemental assignments to students to promote a deeper understanding of SAT material.
  • Offer both remedial and enrichment support for students preparing for the SAT.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for SAT success.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience in SAT preparation. Ideal candidates should possess great communication skills, be capable of conveying SAT concepts effectively, and be located in or willing to travel to the Oakville/Burlington area for in-home tutoring sessions.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You hold a registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, preferably with experience or interest in SAT tutoring.
  • You are qualified to teach in a Canadian Province/Territory outside of Ontario, with credentials that support your ability to provide SAT tutoring.
  • You are a current teacher candidate; pursuing a bachelor of education with an interest in specializing in test preparation.
  • You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited Canadian University or College, ideally with experience in test preparation strategies.
