Workshop Technician Job Description

Le Groupe JLD-Laguë, a leading John Deere dealership, is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our team. As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing client equipment or machinery, as well as refurbishing used equipment for resale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose client equipment or machinery to identify repair needs
  • Repair and refurbish equipment within designated timeframes
  • Establish diagnostic plans and sequences for repairs
  • Register extra work on work orders and inform supervisors
  • Prepare new equipment for delivery to clients
  • Answer technical questions from clients
  • Comply with health and safety standards and policies
Requirements:
  • High School diploma in mechanics or related field
  • Experience as a workshop technician
  • Passion for agriculture, business, or industrial fields
  • Manual dexterity, diagnostic skills, and ability to work autonomously
