About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Intern, ASR. As a key member of our Assurance team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial information, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients, utilizing technical knowledge from courses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Contribute to tax compliance projects and other assignments, adhering to regulatory standards and guidelines.
  • Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements, ensuring the highest level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients, responding to requests and suggestions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients and contributing to the growth of our organization.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues, ensuring seamless collaboration and teamwork.
