Meat Department Associate

Mac Neil's Your Independent Grocer is seeking a skilled Meat Counter Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality products.
Responsibilities:- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient ordering processes.
- Provide expert advice to customers on meat products, including cuts, quality, and quantity, to ensure they make informed purchasing decisions.
- Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the display of merchandise, including arranging and maintaining attractive displays of meat products.
- Greet customers and engage in conversations to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain accurate sales records for inventory control, ensuring that stock levels are up-to-date and that ordering processes are efficient.
- Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, ensuring that products are properly packaged and presented.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency while meeting customer needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
