Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher to join our team at SUMAIR DRYWALL LTD. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to ensure a smooth finish. They will also be required to tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound, as well as install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.

Responsibilities
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
  • Work in dusty and noisy environments.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall finishing.
  • Dusty and noisy work environment.
  • Physically demanding work.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) weight handling capability.
