Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Recruitment Partners. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial tasks, including recording cash transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and reconcile cash transactions, intercompany transactions, and associated reconciliations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, including account reconciliations, financial analysis, and financial reporting processes
  • Complete reporting for both Canadian and Netherlands operations
  • Assist with SAP implementation and transition activities
  • Identify and assist with process improvements
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of financial results to support operations, accounting, and internal reporting
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
  • CPA, CA designation with 1-3 years post-designation experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with upstream oil and gas
  • Experience working with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical, team-oriented, and highly collaborative to work with various departments
  • Adaptable individual who is change agile, flexible, and responsible
