Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at Mobis Parts Canada Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials, parts, and supplies within our distribution centre.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in shipping and receiving, with a strong background in operating material handling equipment. Forklift certifications (Order Picker, Reach Truck, and Counter Balance) are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload shipments accurately and record any discrepancies
  • Ship outbound orders with attention to detail and productivity standards
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks and trailers
  • Operate counter balance, reach truck, and order picker safely and efficiently
  • Pick and pack orders according to PDA specifications
  • Prepare shipping labels and coordinate with carrier staff for loading shipments
  • Process dealer parts orders through various shipping systems
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in shipping/receiving
  • 2+ years' experience as a Forklift Operator
  • Must hold two out of three Forklift Certifications (Order Picker, Reach Truck, Counter Balance)
  • Able to operate material handling equipment safely
  • Reliable transportation to workplace
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Team-oriented and customer service focused
  • Solid organization and time management skills
