About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at St Marys Cement Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in optimizing cement plant processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to plant personnel on process improvements, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in cement plant operations, with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing processes, kiln operation, process control, and predictive maintenance. Proficiency in SAP or similar software.
  • Language: Fluency in English (French and Portuguese are definite assets).
