About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team at St Marys Cement Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in optimizing cement plant processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
  • Develop and maintain process control systems, ensuring optimal plant performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on process procedures and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Corporate Process Manager and Plant Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for plant expansions and start-ups.
  • Support the Performance Action Plans (PAP) and ensure targets for productivity, production, costs, quality, and inventory are met or exceeded.
Requirements
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience in cement plants, with a strong background in process engineering and optimization.
  • Industry-related courses in cement manufacturing, such as mining, milling, kiln operation, process control, and predictive maintenance.
  • Cement experience is a must, with a strong understanding of cement technology, kiln operation, process control, and cement manufacturing and mining.
  • Fluency in English is required, with French and Portuguese being definite assets.
  • Knowledge of SAP or Linkman is an advantage.
