About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Université de Moncton, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of various industrial equipment and machinery. You will work closely with our engineering and technical teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex industrial equipment and machinery, including machines, tools, and specialized equipment.
- Analyze and identify potential design issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Perform engineering calculations, finite element analysis, and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including engineering reports, work instructions, and maintenance procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project delivery.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and contribute to the development of project plans.
- Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements
- Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Solid Edge 3D, AutoCAD 2D, or other CAD software.
