Hospital Security Officer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospital Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing support, empathy, and customer service to healthcare staff, visitors, clients, and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide access control in/out of the facility, as well as within restricted areas of the facility.
- Monitor and respond to incidents identified around property, including on cameras.
- Conduct patrols of the facility, monitoring for risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and general security breaches.
- Respond to alarms and emergency calls for assistance.
- Investigate and report any irregularities that are identified through the course of your duties.
- Monitor patient safety, documenting and reporting incidents as required.
Requirements
A High School Diploma/GED is required, along with First Aid, CPR Level C, a valid Class 5 License, and a valid Security License.
