Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Installation Specialist to join our team at Quetzali Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive high-quality flooring installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in floor installation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed.
  • Organized and able to work as part of a team.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 40 hours per week, permanent position.
