About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team at Safeway Travel Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and register documents for data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter data according to specified formats, maintaining high levels of precision and efficiency.
  • Transfer data between software systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal errors.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
  • Store, update, and maintain databases, ensuring data is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Perform backup procedures to ensure data preservation and prevent loss.
  • Perform general office duties, including administrative tasks and support.
  • Classify, label, and store diskettes, disks, and tapes of data, maintaining a secure and organized environment.
  • Create digital records using a scanner, ensuring high-quality and accurate documentation.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Transfer handwritten data to Excel or Word documents, maintaining consistency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in data entry or a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
