VON Canada is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Ontario. As a Visiting Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to individuals and families in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive nursing assessments, providing symptom control support, and teaching and delegating tasks to different levels of workers and family members. You will also be responsible for participating in relevant committees and working groups as a member of the healthcare team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities. **Responsibilities:**

* Provide and manage high-quality nursing care to individuals and families in the community
* Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
* Provide symptom control support and education to individuals and families
* Teach and delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and family members
* Participate in relevant committees and working groups as a member of the healthcare team

**Qualifications:**

* Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
* Demonstrated competencies in observation, independent assessment, and health education
* Experience providing nursing care to adults and seniors
* Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Valid CPR C/First Aid certification

* Bend, push, pull, grip, reach, kneel, crouch using good body mechanics
