We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to lead our production team in Vancouver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the design development and construction documents for innovative and complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years of experience as an architectural technologist, an Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree, and proficiency in construction documentation including envelope detailing. Fluency with Revit is a must, and a solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes is essential.

The successful candidate will have a passion for accuracy, a collaborative and flexible approach, and motivation, with great organizational skills. Salary starts at $78,000 + per annum, based on a 40-hour work week.

  • Work with your project team to deliver project documentation requirements through all project phases
  • Lead, develop, prepare, and review Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications
  • Lead, develop, prepare, and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications
  • Ensure coordination of consultant documentation for project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications; review the work of consultants
  • Direct the preparation of tender documents
  • Attend coordination and site meetings
  • Coordinate drawing production to accommodate required tender packages
  • Research construction materials
  • Perform code and bylaw analysis
  • Perform Quality Control procedures
  • Provide mentorship and guidance and direction to other Production Team Members
