Retrofit Program Coordinator
The Regional District of Kootenay Boundary is seeking a skilled professional to support the implementation of our low-carbon resilient retrofit program.
This is a 2-year contract position designed to improve the energy efficiency, climate-resiliency, and climate preparedness of homes in the Regional District.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Energy Advisor to ensure that residents are aware of the services, systems, and supports available to them, connecting them with information, resources, and assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the low-carbon resilient retrofit program
- Work with residents to identify energy efficiency and climate resilience opportunities
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to deliver retrofit projects
- Provide guidance and support to residents throughout the retrofit process
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in energy, climate action, building science, environmental, or engineering
- 3-5 years' experience in climate resilience and energy initiatives, project coordination, and customer service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Considerable experience in program development and implementation
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
Compensation:
