About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Technologist to join our team at PermaCorp Group of Companies Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our building systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine structural dimensions and material requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop engineering specifications and drawings
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects
  • Design and develop engineering drawings and specifications for building systems
  • Develop project schedules and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion
  • Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing of construction materials to ensure quality and safety
  • Provide consultation services to government and other organizations on building systems and engineering design
