About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst, Inventory Lifecycle Planner to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a financial business partner to Merchandising and Planning teams, providing expert analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze figures related to inventory and sales, and margins to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to develop and implement strategies to sell end-of-life inventory and optimize inventory turns.
  • Develop and maintain financial planning models for forecast, budget, and strategic planning.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including senior leadership and internal clients.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate university education in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field, with a strong background in retail, margin, and inventory analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, merchandising teams, and internal clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
