Senior Manager, Taxation

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Taxation to join our team at Foresters Financial. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and guidance to support the company's tax compliance and planning needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Tax Returns: Prepare and/or review working papers to support corporate tax and information returns, complete tax forms and supporting documentation, and ensure timely filing.
- Tax Compliance and Tax Control Processes: Prepare and/or review quarterly and annual tax provisions, requisition installments and payments, and maintain effective control procedures over the tax process.
- Audits: Manage the process for year-end external tax audits and other audits by tax authorities, providing working papers, analysis, and supporting documentation to respond to auditors.
- Research, Planning, and Analysis: Research and analyze legislative and regulatory tax issues, provide recommendations, and assist with tax structuring, cash flow, and budgeting analysis.
- Education: University degree in Business or equivalent.
- CPA: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) required; Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of progressive post-graduate tax experience, preferably in the life industry.
- Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
