Job Summary
Metro Supply Chain is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough investigations into inventory discrepancies and provide detailed reports to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems to ensure efficient record-keeping.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries and reporting feedback to management.
- Liaise between warehouse staff and customers to resolve any issues or concerns.
- Verify inventory counts against automated records to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and report any variances to management.
- Perform regular cycle counts and schedule audits to maintain the integrity of our Warehouse Management System.
- Conduct incidental audits of orders and receipts to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate and participate in scheduled physical inventories as required.
- Assist management with space utilization and availability.
- Process damaged inventory and participate in month-end cut-off procedures.
- Communicate directly with clients on a daily basis and provide required reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years previous inventory coordinating experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in inventory control using a Warehouse Management System, preferably Red Prairie (RP).
- Clamp experience is an asset.

- Completion of secondary school is preferred.
