As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our projects. You'll work closely with our project teams to perform site inspections, verify construction compliance with design specifications, and provide technical support to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site inspections of mechanical systems on projects under construction
  • Verify that construction is proceeding in accordance with design specifications and client needs
  • Prepare detailed Site Visit Reports
  • Represent the company at site meetings
  • Interface with clients, building owners, architects, contractors, consultants, utilities, building authorities, and fire authorities

You'll be a great fit if you have a strong passion for working with high-performing teams, providing detailed site inspections, and delivering exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • University or college degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • Progressive experience and knowledge with the inspection of mechanical systems for various building facilities
  • Advanced working knowledge of the National Building Code, ASHRAE, CSA, and NFPA standards
  • Registered with provincial licensing bodies APEGNB and NBCETT (preferred)
  • 3 years' experience in construction project inspection
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
