Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Avenue Eatery & Cafe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
  • Hire and manage food service staff.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
