You will provide real-time production support and incident analysis for large-scale IBM Mainframe network platforms. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth operation of critical systems, meeting service level agreements and managing environments effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise and oversight on the production floor
• Analyze and resolve production issues, understanding full process requirements (compliance, equipment, regulatory)
• Manage complexity across business value, technology, and interaction models
• Recommend and implement solutions based on issue analysis and business implications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• In-depth knowledge of Mainframe technologies (NetView, TCP/IP, SNA, z/OS, IBM Open System Adapter, TSO, TPX, Mainframe API)
• Experience with Mainframe network architectures, working in multi-LPAR, multiple data center environments
• Knowledge or experience with RACF, SDSF, MQ, FTP ConnectDirect, Mainframe Security (firewalls, VPNs)
• Typically 4-7 years of work experience in IT or business environment and/or BS/BA or MBA/MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, math or business
