We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Household Staff Member to join our team at Private Household Dhingar. This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position that offers the opportunity to work in a private home environment.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the household, including sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpeting and upholstered items. They will also be expected to make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries. Additionally, they will assist with cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, as well as washing windows, walls, and ceilings.

As a key member of our household staff, the successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, initiative, judgement, organization, and reliability. They will also possess good communication skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment and Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a private home environment, combining sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. They will be required to lift heavy objects and bend frequently, but should not require prolonged periods of heavy lifting or bending.

Requirements and Qualifications

No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position. However, we are willing to train the right candidate. The successful candidate must have a criminal record check and be able to maintain confidentiality.

Benefits and Salary

This is a permanent position offering 30 hours of work per week. The salary for this position is estimated to be between £15-20 per hour, depending on experience. This translates to an annual salary of approximately £31,200 - £41,600 per year, based on 30 hours worked per week.
