About the Role

Kara Hospitality Inc is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Hotel Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless stay for our hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In

Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all necessary information is accurately recorded.

Guest Services

Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions, to ensure guests have a memorable stay.

Departure and Billing

Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.

Inventory Management

Maintain an accurate inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments to ensure optimal room utilization and guest satisfaction.

Clerical Duties

Perform various clerical tasks, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying, to support the smooth operation of the front desk.

Communication

Answer telephone calls and relay messages in a professional and timely manner, ensuring guests receive prompt assistance.

Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a courteous and professional manner.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced hotel environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency while providing excellent guest service.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

Will train.

Hours

35 to 40 hours per week.
