About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at LOGIC CONSTRUCTION LTD. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to frame houses, erect walls, and build roofs.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, performing routine maintenance tasks.
Requirements
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, with repetitive tasks and overtime required.
  • Comfortable handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Available to work on the road, with a permanent employment contract.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
