About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Leader to join our Reinsurance Actuarial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing the costs and benefits of risk transferred under reinsurance agreements via pricing analysis and dynamic risk modeling for large accounts. You will also oversee analysts doing the same for small to medium sized accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns in risk management
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and respond to client needs
  • Provide mentorship to junior colleagues on experience and exposure methods
  • Design and present analysis results to clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a Property and Casualty actuarial role; Reinsurance and/or consulting experience preferred
  • FCAS and FCIA credential preferred
  • Dynamic Financial Analysis or Economic Capital Modeling experience a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite
  • Proficiency in a programming language, e.g. R / Python / SQL
  • Strong ability to understand and perform mathematical and statistical calculations
