About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position that involves setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality plastics products.
Duties and Responsibilities- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production of parts.
- Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to optimize performance and productivity.
- Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
- Program CNC machine tools to produce complex plastic components.
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but experience is an asset.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents.
- Familiarity with CNC machine tools and programming software.
- Able to work accurately and dependably in a fast-paced environment.
- Ongoing training and development opportunities.
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
