We are seeking a skilled CNC machinist to join our team at Technical Plastics Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position that involves setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-quality plastics products.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Set up and adjust production machinery/tools to optimize performance and productivity.
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control.
  • Program CNC machine tools to produce complex plastic components.
  • Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and documents.
  • Familiarity with CNC machine tools and programming software.
  • Able to work accurately and dependably in a fast-paced environment.
