Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Close To Home Grocery & Deli. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for preparing and packaging meats for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
  • Remove bones from meat and weigh meats for sale
  • Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Grind meats and shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats
  • Prepare special orders for customers
Work Environment

As a Meat Cutter at Close To Home Grocery & Deli, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to use hand-eye coordination and be organized and a team player.

Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
