Job Summary

The HR Generalist at ID Logistics is responsible for managing the administration of human resources policies, procedures, and programs for assigned facilities. This role carries out responsibilities in various functional areas, including departmental development, HRIS, associate relations, training, benefits, compensation, and employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify legal requirements and government regulations affecting HR functions and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting.
  • Partner with the Compensation team to conduct wage surveys and analyze data to determine competitive compensation plans.
  • Recruit, interview, test, and select associates to fill vacant positions.
  • Coordinate new hire and new leader orientations, training, and cross-training activities.
  • Assist with hosting events to increase morale and company culture.
  • Ensure facility leadership is trained and up-to-date on performance management activities.
  • Partner with corporate HR to investigate and advise management on associate relations issues.
  • Write and respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR specialist, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a business-related field.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, and experience with ADP platforms.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 operation and bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
