Create innovative designs using a multitude of different software to meet or exceed client requirements, while keeping machine ability and production cost considerations in mind.

The ideal candidate will receive projects from the Client Operations Manager, review them for completeness and understanding, and work with the Project Manager to clarify any areas requiring further clarification.

Determine whether an existing design can be used as a basis or if a new project must be started from scratch. Designs may take anywhere from a few hours to a week or more to complete.

Maintain regular liaison with other staff as the Creative Group works on a team basis for ideas and concepts.

Produce proposed design parameters using ARTIOS CAD and/or Solid Works software, reviewing them with the Account Manager and the client if necessary.

Obtain a signed disclaimer if the client insists on a condition that the Designer does not agree with for technical reasons.

Maintain awareness of the price range for the product established by the Account Manager, producing a design that is compatible and a leading-edge solution consistent with customer requirements.

Always consider function and ease of assembly.

Maintain constant liaison with the production group as a new design starts up and continues.

Be accessible to assist sales with technical information and visit customers as needed.

Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends, packaging materials, government regulations, and production and test methods.

Work with Account Managers, Project Managers-Packaging and Display team, and Production personnel on problems concerning estimating, specifications, tooling, or anything affecting the quality of our product.

Undertake development projects to create new customers for our products.

Assist in maintaining Design Department operations, including regular cleaning and organization.

A minimum of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training is required, along with relevant skills and qualifications, such as Microsoft Office, Artios CAD, and Solid Works.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
