Trucking Company Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trucking Company General Manager to lead our logistics and transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and be able to allocate resources effectively to implement organizational policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Allocate Resources: Manage the allocation of material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
- Establish Departments: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Coordinate Regional Operations: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments.
- Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls; formulate and approve promotional campaigns; and approve overall human resources planning.
- Establish Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
- Represent the Organization: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
- Select Executive Staff: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Work Term and Hours: Work Term: Permanent; Hours: 42.5 hours per week.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
