Role Overview

We are seeking a Group Insurance Lead to advise and lead client engagements. Our diverse set of backgrounds offers different perspectives and new ways of thinking. We are looking for someone who thrives in this setting and is inspired to craft relevant solutions through true collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on day-to-day operations experience and an understanding of how users interact with business modules, including product management and design of Canadian group products.
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze needs and align product roadmaps to strategic goals.
  • Define scope, validate design on features, user stories, and acceptance criteria via hands-on experience in the application when necessary.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
  • Case onboarding and administration, including understanding of flex offering administration, enrolment operations, and billing operations.
  • Understanding of ASO/BASO, taxation concepts, and familiarity with the specificities of Quebec versus western and other provinces.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with group clients in Canada in underwriter, advisory, or product owner capacity.
  • Working with COTS vendors in implementation and advising business features is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile-based delivery.
  • Fluency in French is preferred.
