Job Title: Cloud Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Architect with expertise in AWS Cloud technologies to join our Delivery team. The successful candidate will play a strategic role in maintaining all cloud systems, including front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks.

Your Role in Our Team

  • Remain current on AWS market demands and certifications.
  • Build architectural cloud roadmap for Nuvoola AI's cloud solution and develop and lead application architecture.
  • Consult on customer services engagements for cloud migration or optimization opportunities.
  • Be the main technical associate for development teams, helping in application development and management of services over the AWS platform.
  • Handle technical queries and provide necessary help regarding cloud services.
  • Ensure our Cloud solution is continuously monitored and managed for security, compliance, availability, cost optimization, and performance.
  • Focus on Site Reliability Engineering principles to design, drive, and develop tools, automation, CI/CD pipeline to SaaS continuous delivery model.
  • Evaluate new technologies to solve business challenges in delivering a world-class SaaS Service.
  • Participate with Development and Operations teams to deliver new services that bring value to customers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams after service disruptions to look for opportunities to improve.
  • Solve challenges of delivering cloud services to multi-cloud use of AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, and Private Cloud.
  • Automate delivery of infrastructure as a service.
  • Participate in the infrastructure and operations technical governance process.
  • Ensure tenant adherence to processes, procedures, and standards.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years of working experience as a cloud architect with knowledge of application development on cloud platforms.
  • Proven experience with AWS is preferred; experience on other platforms such as Azure, GCP, and/or IBM is also acceptable.
  • Certification as an AWS Cloud Architect is preferred.
  • Consultative experience is required.
  • Experience with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutioning and selection.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security in both on-premise and public cloud scenarios.
  • Strong knowledge and commitment to quality design including design patterns and software engineering best practices.
  • Thorough understanding of client engagement processes.
  • Experience with DevOps tools.
  • Ability to demonstrate cost models and potential savings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual in French and English).
