About the Opportunity


The Supply Chain Management Program Coordinator will play a vital role in shaping the leaders of tomorrow by developing and implementing curriculum for the post-graduate certificate program in Supply Chain Management.


This leadership role involves ensuring effective educational delivery by all instructors teaching the program, providing thorough training and support for faculty, and maintaining up-to-date curriculum and course materials.


The Instructor portion of the role involves teaching and facilitating courses to classes of students, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement curriculum for the Supply Chain Management post-graduate certificate program
  • Work collaboratively with Project Manager, Instructional Designers, and other academic services staff in course development
  • Create, update, and maintain instructor guides
  • Train and support new instructors teaching the program
  • Update and/or create lesson plans and assignments to enhance student learning outcomes
  • Ensure curriculum updates are effectively communicated and reviewed with program faculty
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for other faculty regarding program-specific software and equipment
  • Prepare agendas for and lead faculty calls with faculty members
  • Review and report on the adequacy and appropriateness of instructional materials
  • Share best practices, lesson plans, and materials with other faculty
  • Instruct assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and learning objectives


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A university degree in Business or a related field such as Supply Chain Management
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional is preferred
  • Five (5) years of full-time supply chain experience is required
  • A minimum of two years' teaching experience in a post-secondary level institution is required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including inspiration, motivation, and facilitation
  • Ability to resolve student concerns and escalate accordingly
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds
