About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kickers Sports Bar & Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Establish and manage budgets, ensuring that all financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service management role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
