Electrical Project Coordinator Position in Siemens Canada

Are you passionate about project management and electrical products?

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team at Siemens Canada Limited.

This is a 12-month contract role that will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to gain valuable experience and advance their career.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will assist project managers in managing multiple projects focused on the manufacturing of Low Voltage Electrical products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing project schedules and ensuring smooth project execution;
  • Procuring materials and monitoring production activities;
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets;
  • Verifying execution of the project through clean hand over meetings and customer kick off meetings;

You will also be responsible for communicating with stakeholders, exchanging technical requirements and project plan information, and working closely with vendors across US and Canada.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;
  • PMP certification or over 2 years of experience in project coordination/management;
  • Aptitude in managing multiple priorities and tasks;
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
  • Experience working with MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • SAP or similar ERP system experience is an asset;
