Sylvan Learning Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher/tutor to join our team at the Sylvan Learning Centre of West Kelowna. As a Sylvan Learning Instructor, you will have the opportunity to work with students of all ages, providing personalized instruction in reading, writing, math, and study skills.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a 3:1 setting
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure student success
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education
- Bachelor's degree and teaching certificate, or college senior working towards degree in Education
- Ability to work with students of all ages and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable form of transportation
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling
