A&W Restaurants Inc. is a leading fast-food chain with a strong presence in British Columbia and the Yukon Territories. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring high-quality customer experiences and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Manage inventory, labor costs, and expenses to achieve budgeted targets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback and coaching to employees.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and drive sales.
- Manage customer complaints and feedback, implementing service recovery programs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in food service management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant operating systems, including inventory management and labor scheduling.
- Ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on business or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to give presentations and build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for extended periods.
- Some heavy lifting required.
