Job Summary:

The Gabriel Dumont Institute is seeking a qualified Part Time Faculty II Instructor to provide instruction and support to students in the Saskatchewan Polytechnic Continuing Care Assistant Certificate program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver classes and labs to students
  • Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance
  • Provide program support to students

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with a degree in Nursing Education or related subject area
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association or the Registered Psychiatric Nurses' Association of Saskatchewan
  • Two (2) years recent/relevant work experience in gerontology, home care, and special care
  • Up-to-date TLR, first aid, and WHIMIS certifications
  • Experience in adult education and instruction
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work with people from various equity groups

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $72,038 – $94,798
