Health Careers in Sask is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Therapeutic Autism Support Specialist. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who is eager to work with a multidisciplinary team to extend therapeutic programs into various settings, including the home, daycare, preschool, school, high school, or workplace.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders under the direction of a qualified consultant. You will develop and implement therapeutic and individualized program plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in extending programs into the community, promoting independence, and fostering a sense of belonging.

About the Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • One (1) year experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorders is required.
  • Disability Support Worker certificate is a must.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license is an essential requirement.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and basic computer skills are also essential.

As a member of our team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and work independently as needed. Your ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively will be critical in ensuring the success of our programs.

About the Benefits

This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary range of $22.600 to $24.210 (3 step range) per year. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a strong focus on professional development.

About the Location

This role is based in Ile-a-la-Crosse, Saskatchewan. You will be required to travel to various locations to extend programs and support clients. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential for this role.
