Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Architectural Intern. As a key member of our design team, you will assist in the production of design and construction drawings, diagrams, and renderings. Your strong 3D modeling and rendering skills, proficiency in CAD programs, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite will be valuable assets in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the production of design and construction drawings, diagrams, and renderings
  • Develop and maintain 3D models and visualizations using Sketch-Up, V-Ray, and Rhino
  • Collaborate with designers and architects to develop design concepts and solutions
  • Provide support in the production of graphically compelling content for presentations and proposals
  • Contribute to the development of design and construction documents
Requirements:
  • Strong 3D modeling and rendering skills: Sketch-Up, V-Ray, Rhino
  • Experience with CAD programs (knowledge of Vectorworks and AutoCAD is considered an asset)
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience with Mac computers and knowledge of associated software including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote
  • Creative thinking with a strong ability to communicate graphically
  • Highly organized with clear communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Team-minded with a go-getter attitude, ability to roll with the punches and get things done
  • Interest in design culture and the larger purpose of architecture
  • Ability to self-edit and receive constructive critique
