We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Design and Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of our integrated design practice, you will assist in the preparation of marketing materials, site evaluations, and design development documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, awards, and other marketing materials
  • Conduct site evaluations, including documentation, site analysis, and zoning analysis
  • Investigate and verify existing conditions, including documentation, measurement, and verification
  • Participate in client meetings and stakeholder engagement workshops
  • Coordinate project deliverables, including schedules and meetings
  • Develop design options and approaches
  • Assist in the development of massing and concept diagrams
  • Develop block planning and building plans
  • Assist in the development of renderings
  • Utilize BIM technologies to design and develop projects
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of building systems and materials
  • Prepare project and design reports
  • Develop schematic design documents
  • Coordinate building systems
  • Implement sustainable design principles
Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
  • Humble and driven to achieve design excellence
  • Ability to engage and work within a creative and critical integrated design practice
  • Interest in holistic design, systems thinking, construction, materials, and sustainability
  • Ability to produce design at a level that would be perceived externally as excellent
  • Ability to apply accessibility codes, applicable building codes, and life-safety codes
  • General knowledge of building construction systems and industry-associated standards
Education and Experience:
  • Master of Architecture degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Internship experience preferred
